So I finally figured out how to get phone tech support from Amazon. In the last week I've been on the phone with them 4 times about 2 different issues, and only once did I get some sort of resolution.
Here's what you do:
1) Use the help section of the website and find the "have us call you" thing. You put in your info and choose your order #, and then click "call me". This will connect you with a call center in India, and you'll get nothing done. (I understood what they were saying fine, but they either couldn't understand me, or just seemed clueless overall.) Nothing against Indian people, but there can be a language barrier if the person on the other end doesn't fully understand English.
2) Get an email asking if your issue was resolved. Click no, put in some feedback, and click the thing at the bottom that says, "give us another chance, have us call you again." When I did this, I got someone who was either American, or had spoken English for so long that he tricked me into thinking he was. I told him what the issue was, he understood, he fixed it, we were done.
Another reason I think he was American, was because of the way that system is setup. Why would they try to get you back on the phone with a tech support that didn't help? Just hoping that the second rep can? No, it's probably a fallback in case a call to the Indian call center wasn't sufficient.
In other news, yes, I got Enslaved for $5. That's a fucking steal.
