I've found the Steam holiday sale really underwhelming this year.

I think found the Steam sales underwhelming b/c I own many of the games that have been on sale already. Otherwise, I'd probably have been all over some of those deals.
Also, Amazon PC game downloads has been trying to match OR top Steam at every chance they can get, as well. So, they've also been on my watch - BIG TIME.
Also, Gamersgate and GreenMan have ALSO had some good stuff on sale of late, as well.

I've already bought a lot of the good deals in the past, as well - whether from Steam, Amazon DL, Gamersgate, Origin, or elsewhere.

I really haven't bought much during the X-Mas Sale from Steam, surprisingly.
Dad bought me Skyrim for X-Mas from Steam - that was the big one ($40.19).
I bought Hard Reset ($5) and X3: Albion Prelude ($2.49) from Steam.

I bought Avadon: The Black Fortress ($2.49) from Amazon download (instead of Steam), since it was DRM-FREE from there. [shrug]

Also, I bought hard copies of Alice: Madness Returns ($8), Shift 2: Unleashed ($5), and ARMA 2: Reinforcements ($2) from Best Buy.
