50 genesis games.  5 bucks.  steam keys

http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Genesis-Classic-Game-Download/dp/B00A6CS0OU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354477197&sr=8-1&keywords=sega+genesis+pack

worth it for gunstar heroes alone.  The interface is pretty great, too.

50 genesis games.  5 bucks.  steam keys

That looks like the DRM Version (which I own already from them - b/c no DRM is listed).
This is the STEAM Version.

EDIT:
Worth noting - Idol gifted me Steam version of VF2 (Genesis), which is part of the Sega Genesis Classics Collection [which is an emulator program you get when you buy ONE game that is part of this collection]. For those who don't know - each game shows up listed as DLC via Steam (when you activate a Steam version of any games in the Collection).

I later bought DRM-FREE from Amazon DVG their Sega Genesis Classics Pack (Series 1-5). When I installed the DRM-FREE version from Amazon DVG, b/c I installed Steam version already (from Idol's VF2 Steam gift), I accidentally installed all of that right into the Steam version's folder. And yes, all 50 games are there in the Emulator and work! Though, b/c the rest wasn't activated via Steam - the other 49 games aren't showing up in Steam's DLC List.

I also bought the Sonic Action Pack (Mixed DRM) from Amazon DVG during BF Sales - and many of those old Sonic Genesis Games also go directly right into the Sega Genesis Classics Emulator (that would be Sonic 1, 2, 3 + Knuckles, Spinball, 3D Blast). My DRM-FREE versions of those install right into the Steam version of the Sega Genesis Classics, if you want them to.

{If you go DRM-FREE on any of the Sega Genesis Classics - you could install any of those Sega Classics elsewhere, away from Steam folder, obviously}.

EDIT:
Gamersgate
Today's Deals:
Airline Tycoon 2 (other DRM) = $5
Supreme Commander: Gold Edition -> req. Steam = $5
--> Includes: Supreme Commander + Sup Com: Forged Alliance
Sword of the Stars Collection = $7.49
--> Includes: Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection (Other DRM) & Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter (Steam DRM)
Carrier Command: Gaea Mission = $25

FTL is $6 on their web site and on GoG. Buying direct from them gets you a Steam key (as well as DRM free) if thats what you want YOU MONSTER.

Its cheap. Buy it.

Metro 2033 is FREE from THQ's Metro Facebook page from the 11th to the 16th of December. It's in the form of a Steam key.

http://thq.me/g1jBt
Follow the link, like the page, and and allow the app to install. Then click "reveal code" and put that into Steam.

EDIT: It looks like there's a direct link to a Metro2033.exe file as well, on the same page where you can reveal the Steam key.

What does the metro2033.exe even do? If its a Steam key there shouldn't be any need for a separate download.

I'm assuming it's if you want a DRM free installer instead of using the Steam key.

EDIT: Actually I'm not sure. It's 70MB in size and has the following instructions provided with the link:
Quote
1. Download the following file: metro2033.exe
2. Run the downloaded file.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your key when prompted.
4. See Terms and Conditions

The Steam key couldn't work as a standard CD Key too, could it? Seems doubtful.Actually the page says nothing about Steam at all. I think maybe Steam was mentioned where I found the link. I tried to redeem my key, but it told me I already had the game. (forgot I recently got it from the Humble THQ Bundle)

The Metro 2033 key you get on Facebook works in Steam.  I'm not sure what the installer is for...

Also picked up Duke Nukem 3D from GoG.

Hurray for free stuff that I get but have no time to play.

God damn it, $8 for W2? I'd totally do that if I didn't want the fancy box version. And, you know, if I had the time to play it ever.

Awesome, Idol.
Adding that to the front page.

EDIT:
This is worth noting about Inquisitor (from the newer Steam Forums), who are trying to get greenlit on Steam GreenLight.

Will previous Inquisitor owners get a new Steam key or they will have to purchase it separatedly?
I guess the title is self explanatory

Yes, those who bought the game directly from us will get their Steam keys automatically, those that bought the game on GOG.com will have to send us an e-mail request for it.

With no subscription they are going to want to keep the base price up for as long as possible, so I wouldn't really count on seeing any major discounts there for a while.

That's THQ for you...
I mean, just look at the ridiculous DLC amounts w/ SR:TT & DOW2: Retribution, for starters.

Regardless, that's a hella good deal for Darksiders 1 + Darksiders 2 + 11 other DLC's Darksiders 2  + Darksiders 2: Season Pass.

GoGs deals today are...well, lots of stuff. Missed a previous daily deal? They are all back. Plus others. Go look.

I'm kinda bummed because you have to buy the bundle to get the big discounts, but I own a lot of the games elsewhere so the bundles end up not being a great deal for me. And still no Miasmata sale!

Steam has some good deals today.  Hitman Absolution is 50% off, so $24.99.  Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition is $7.49.

I've picked up Hitman; deciding if I want to pick up Batman considering the limited time I have to play it at this point.
