I know I do a lot of threads w/ digital deals, but I'm thinking since I have my new format of posting, I'm thinking of doing a thread of nothing but the best digital deals around the Net for PC games to buy-to-download - Steam, G4WL, GOG, GamersGate, Direct2Drive, etc etc.

At the top of the thread in this first post above this one, will be what's on sale and where. And I'll change them up, when they change - whether it's a Mid-Week Sales, Weekend Deal, One Day Deal, Hourly Deal, or whatever; as long as I can keep up w/ it all, of course.

Is that cool w/ all of you?

For that matter (on stupid ass DRM bullshit), so is Tages Internet Edition, some G4WL games, some D2D Games, and Securom Internet Edition - especially even more so true when install limits are involved...

I know theres all kinds of DRM, I just don't understand why Steam itself isn't considered as such. I've had more trouble with it than any other form of DRM I've had to deal with.

(yes, I'm bitchy because I would love to buy a whole bunch of games for cheap)

I consider Steam DRM - you damn right I do! Even worse when they packages Steamworks DRM + additional 3rd party DRM.

I've had more problems w/ other DRM types such as Securom Internet, Tages Internet, and StarForce than Steam. I can consider myself lucky, I guess - given what many people have been through with it.

Worst problem I had w/ Steam was had to restore the Blob file once b/c My Games List wouldn't load. *shrug*

Steam w/ its (forced) updates and game updates must be a killer for you 56K'ers out there...

And I just bought Ghostbusters for $4. Today only!

I have Shatter on the PS3 and can vouch for it's funness (coolness? enjoyableness? not-suckiness?).

I really hope Batman shows up before the deals are done. I've held out on that for long enough that I want a major price drop before I jump in. This seems like as good of an opportunity as any.
