Gaming isn't doomed, as long as these dev's can find a way to make all kinds of "core" experience games out of the Kinect.

It's going to take a while before they figure that one out. KB/mouse and gamepads ain't going away any-time soon.

Heh, the motion for SF4 was a lot simpler.  I was hoping that they would have to jump up and down and do roundhouse kicks in order to get the character to do it as well.

Oh well, this will suffice in leading to personal injuries for people playing in the same room together.  That's awesome.

I heard on last week's Bombcast that MS is updating the Kinect libraries to add support for finger tracking. That opens the door for a bunch of really interesting and profane uses that will all get shot down by MS.

Kinect used in operating room.  It allows hands-free viewing and manipulating of images and other data.  Surgery personnel would normally need to leave the sterile field to do this, and then would need to scrub up again.
