I just can't conceive a situation where a loved one is taken from me and beaten to death and I don't turn into a raging murdering psychopath. Even if it's one of my dogs, that would be one of the few things that would push me over the edge. Murder? Yes, I don't give a shit about prison, my mind has just been psychologically fucked.

OK so I finally braved through the article. They are killing dogs because of their own incompetence.

In Canada I found a stray a cat so I took it to the humane society and they charged me $80 to "put it down." I didn't pay of course, I took the cat back a re-released into the "wild." I figured if it's gonna die it may as well die doing some cat activities.. and without costing me.


Anyway, coming back to this story. Ignorance is bliss, right? These incompetent assholes are perfectly content beating dogs to death. They could have snapped their necks, or swiftly slit their carotids, but they consciously chose to beat the dogs to death. I can't fathom the twisted minds of these sick pieces of shit.

I think the SPCA takes stray and unwanted cats and dogs in for free. Many of these are probably put down in the end, but I find it amazing that the Humane Society wanted to charge you.

I've got a Shiba Inu.  I'll have to see if I can post a picture of him from my phone.  A lot of pics of Shibas show them with almost lion-like manes.  His isn't like that, or at least isn't as severe.

I wish I had a dog. I would train it to follow my nonverbal commands to instantly bite off the nads of everyone that is worthless. And then my legal justification would be that the cologne that the asshole was wearing is an aphrodisiac to dogs. 

Also I would train the dog to save babies from burning buildings. Because who the fuck would go against that dog in court.

I've wanted a dog since I was a little kid. I remember when I was a kid, my father bought a year old one from a family who had three. We kept him only for a day, because he looked so lonely and missed his old family.

When Ontario put in the province-wide ban, so many dogs got killed. At least Vancouver is semi-sane when it comes to these types of things. They voted down BSL last time it came up.

As for the pitbull ban, I don't know much about it but I was under the impression that it was a ban on future pitbull breeding and ownership.  You can't breed them, you can't go out and get new ones (at least legally), but if you have one you're fine as long as it's licenced, leashed, neutered, and possibly muzzled?

Pitbulls are great dogs, the unfortunate thing is that they're also the most likely to have shitty owners who want one because of the image associated with them. Note that these people also wear a lot of Tap Out, Affliction, and Ed Hardy.

The shit is in the US too, sadly.  And yeah, it's unfortunate that shitty people will get the dogs... but those people would cause any dog to be aggressive and ill-tempered.  It has nothing to do with the breed whatsoever.  Pits love to please, so the only reason they may be seen as more aggressive and crazy is because when people want them to be that way, they really want to live up to their owner's expectation.  If you want a pit to be all cuddles and bunnies, it will be more than happy to oblige you that way, too.

I was in China years ago. I was taken to a restaraunt where they started by putting plates of boiling water in front of us. Then they put in live frogs and shrimp. After that everyone started digging in. It was disgusting. They will eat anything!
