I don't know who designed these forums

But it actually looks great on a mobile browsers. Even on my atrocious Blackberry browser, everything is perfectly functional and easy to read.

T'was a nice surprise on my bus ride with no headphones.

He is referring to the WAP2 view that comes up by default with the BlackBerry Browser and text phone browsers.

I agree that it is nice.  I like how it shows the little phone icon on the posts made from that mode by default.  Only things I miss on that view are the style controls and not being able to edit posts.

All the browsers I've used on Android show the regular forum view by default.
