For the Wii. I am going to wal-mart Saturday morning and living there until the Wii comes out on midnight. I have never done anything like this. I'm buying tons of food at wal-mart. Bringing my GBA SP... and living in one spot for over 12 hours. I am a total psychotic.

I'm tempted to get one, but I'll wait a bit before making my decision about whether to buy one or not.  I am also contemplating getting an Xbox360.

Most Wal Mart stores are 24 hours, so yeah, they don't have a problem with it, most stores are doing a midnight release.  I work at a Wal Mart in the electronics department and we don't have them in stock and probably wont get any till the day or two before they come out.  Same story with the PS3.

That's why he is camping out. Because he can say he camped out, yet it will be an easy camp out. Plus we respect him because it isn't a 'put your life on hold' camp out.

Yeah, it's just an easy way to ensure I get two Wii's. A friend is coming with me and getting the second one. Tennessee has a somewhat limited supply it seems... plus I don't think we'll be there all day. Probably just from 2 PM to midnight, if we're lucky.

He's not really even "camping out" hes just sitting in a building for 10 hours.  Surprisingly, in some places, it will be required if you want to get a Wii on launch.  Yeah, Nintendo shipped out a lot more than Sony did but the stores still have very limited numbers and if you live in smaller town, especially a college town there are going to be A LOT of people wanting one, add early Christmas shopping into that factor too.

Okay so I started feeling like I was getting sick... and so did my friend. We both started chugging bottles of water with Airborne in it. I will prevail!

I took sick leave today to recover. I'm about to head to class, then come home and sleep more.

Turns out we may not have to be there all day... the PS3 pretty much gave us a good oppurtunity in Rockwood, TN.
