True enough, but I still have to comment. PC gamers are in a tough spot, one I don't see abating anytime soon. If anything, it will get worse. Console gamers are not to blame for the PC-market's woes. It's unfair to cast them in such a negative light. It's unfair to blame developers for seeking the greenest pastures. And dedicated gaming devices will only continue to close the gap on the gaming advantages of multipurpose PCs in the future. You can shake your fist at it, or you can make the best of it, which means to experience the best of it across the board.
See, that's the problem - the gaming experience ISN'T across the board in most instances.
And usually, of late, the PC experience has been the one getting screwed-up...
Whether it's...
PC version's UI sucks compared to console version UI;
PC version's controls a botched - see Resident Evil 4 PC;
PC version NOT getting DLC's and the console gets DLC's;
PC version NOT performing well on most PC's;
PC version has locked-out and encrypted files like Bulletstorm PC has so it can't be tweaked;
PC version getting much nastier DRM than consoles; etc etc.
This is ALL step in the wrong direction.Not often does it wind-up where the console experience winds up vastly inferior to the PC version anymore - see Risen PC vs. 360; and also DAO PC vs. consoles. Even this -
this is a step in the wrong direction, too. If anything - console gaming needs to be leveled-up closer to the PC. So, yes - KB/mouse support on the consoles would be a bloody start. I mean, why not? We have X360 controller support on the PC.
