So,
Giant Bomb did a quicklook and it convinced me to try the game out.
Turns out it's kind of awesome for what it is. The action is actually pretty tight and, if you have a duel analog controller you can use, the controls are pretty tight too. There have been some fun gameplay mechanics beyond the stacking gimmick, which is a lot of fun in of itself. You can basically build your own spread gun and tune it to fit your style or situation. It's littered with a lot of great little random moments like the proper Serious Sam games, but somehow these feel more random. Either that's because this is somehow more strange than a proper Serious Sam* or it's just more densely packed in the interest of being storter. Also, it has dinosaurs. You ride some of them. What else did Serious Sam need?
It's on a bit of a Steam Sale for $6.40 (compared to the usual $8.00) and might be worth a luck if you have the inclination to check it out. If not, remember when there's the inevitable sale that it's worth checking out.
*Really, the game's sense of humor is strange. Even for Serious Sam, it's just random and almost awkward at times (in a good way)
Sort of a random moment spoiler...
Edit: I heard you like a budget games.

So I put a budget game in a budget game.
Edit 2: Is budget game a phrase that's even used anymore or did all the small games just become indie games?
