More Nintendo games get pricecut
« on: Saturday, August 27, 2011, 02:37:12 AM »
Some good ones too I still barely touch my Wii, but I'll probably end up getting Punch Out and Paper Mario for just $20 each. Super Paper Mario is actually one of the more rare Wii titles, used copies can go for $60. Was one of those titles that I wished I had grabbed earlier.

While it's hard to argue with the new, lower price, our secret, inner box-art snob wonders, "Is a measly $30 savings worth the shame of having that on the game shelf?"

Heheh!  That was my first thought upon seeing the box art in that ugly red frame.  It's worse than what MS does to their "platinum" releases.

Too bad I already own the games I want out of that bunch.  Here's hoping Galaxy 2 joins it soon.

Yea, the MS ones are pretty bad, but if that's what I have to deal with to own a copy of Super Paper Mario then I'm fine with it. To be honest, I'm not all too partial to my huge game collection shelf. I mean its just this big thing in my room where 5% of the games on there will get touched again once I finish them (if I finish them), so box art isn't that big of a deal to me.

Punch Out!! is so good.  I grew up with Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!  being one of my favorite games, and this sequel updated and captured the spirit of the original perfectly.
