Almost anyway.  I learned about the transonic area rule today, thanks to your link.  Even subsonic aircraft need to be shaped to account for transonic airflow around its surfaces.  Cool stuff.

How does the Android app Speaktoit Assistant compare to Siri?  Same basic idea.
