I already get lazy about it half the time.  I want an I key to hold down like Shift.

I have difficulty resisting the urge to correctly format stuff. I'm trying though. I just posted a message with both titles in it in "normal" text.

Do you type out the code manually or do the highlight and button press on the reply page? I do it manually so it never seemed like a big deal. Its trickier when I'm trying to insert it into something I copy/pasted.

I type the code manually.  It's still a pain when dealing with a bunch of different instances.

I usually type out my post then go back and highlight with the mouse and hit the magic I button. I feel that's quicker for me.
