Yeah, no shit... :-X

I think Planescape: Torment should be higher than 13, myself... :P

EDIT:
Glad to see FF6 on the list.
Don't think it belongs that high, though.
I always thought FF5,6,7 were the best of the FF series...not including anything after FF9, since it's the last FF that I actually played b/c PSX was last console I owned.

FF VI and Chrono Trigger are regularly discussed in my circles as the best games of all time.  Personally they comprise 2 of my all time top 5.  I hardly ever see them top lists anymore, though because it's cool to put them in the 20's-30's now, despite everyone knowing otherwise.

Really happy that Jade Empire got props at 30.  In my opinion it was a severely underrated game.  I started playing it and couldn't stop, which is not something I could say about KOTOR.

The Souls games are great, but they don't belong on this list.  At least I don't think.  I see them more as action/adventure/sadist

Diablo spawned great things, but it does not hold up well. Does not deserve its high ranking.  Diablo 3 doesn't even belong on this list.

I find it odd Diablo 1 (#16) is listed so high.
I'd say Diablo 2 is the real crowning jewel (#6) in that franchise - and probably most would agree w/ me there.
Granted, keep in mind - I don't own D3 (yet) and ain't played enough of it (only did the D3 Starter Kit up to Skeleton King in Act 1).
Also, I'd rather have Divine Divinity on the list, not Diablo 1.

I loved Jade Empire (#30) - and I'd still love to see a Jade Empire 2.

Diablo 2 should. I think BG2 should be at 1. Still, 3 isn't bad.

Nah, no way man. Diablo 2 was good but it was nowhere near as engrossing as Skyrim. At least in my experience with both games Skyrim is the better game overall, by a large margin. The Elder Scrolls series in general are a better experience for me than the Diablo series. That's just my opinion anyway.

Seriously? Skyrim was another good update to the Elder Scrolls franchise, but Diablo 2 is legendary. I wouldn't put Skyrim anywhere near D2. :P That's what I think though. Mass Effect is too high. :P

hahaha not in so many words, but that's what I was thinking about the list when I saw the thread title for the first time. Ten years ago something like this would have been exciting, but at this age I am thinking who are these people to tell me what the top 100 RPGs are.

The list is better than expected though.

I know I come off as crass, but seriously its such a stupid list. And it shows that the genre of RPG has little meaning since there is such a broad spectrum of games that accompany with it. You can't really have a conversation comparing Mass Effect and Paper Mario, or Final Fantasy and Fallout, let alone making an arbitrary list of how the games stack up next to each other. It's just there to bait clicks and create stupid discussions of "WHY [GAME TITLE] IS LOWER THAN [GAME TITLE]!!11!!". So like I said, fuck that list.

I feel like Que has taken over your account.

I get what you are saying. This is how they make money... with lists like this. They get hits. It is IGN sadly.

I'm totally with Pyro on this one. But I didn't take over his account.
