Sounds lovely.
It was.
I don't go out to *that* area (Plymouth) very often. It's like a 45 min ride from where I live. When I do go there, it somehow ends up...turning into and being a trip & a half. There's really something...about that place. Doesn't seem like...most places. Been there a few times, sure - usually to go eat at T-Bones Roadhouse. And then, a trip to T-Bones turns into...normally more than that, for me. I've been around Downtown Plymouth area before - walked around, checked out some of the cool-artsy type stores that's around there before & whatnot. It's definitely NOT your typical city or anything. It just feels like a very quaint and cool place.
But, I've never really walked near or around the Pier and Beach areas around there. Never actually looked at The Plymouth Rock. Rode by all of that before, but never took the time to just get out of the car, walk around, and go check it out - and I'm glad I did. It's so peaceful, calm, and relaxing - being right there and right nearby the ocean and everything, too.
Damn, I should've took my cam & took photos...
Of course, I never expected a trip off to Kingston to pick up 2 games turn...into what it turned into. I probably should've expected that, though - since Plymouth's the next town over from Kingston (literally like 8 minutes from Kingston). We kinda just winged it and was like, "It's only a few minutes away - let's go to T-Bones. We hardly go there!" And then after that, it turned into "While we're here, let's go check out Plymouth Rock."
I gotta' go back there again, eventually...
