Megabyte Punch: Smash Bros meets Custom Robo in a platformer

Very cool game. I picked it up in the last IndieGameStand promo, and you can get it there too if you spend $10 on the current game (getting you the last game, the current game, and the next game). Or you can just buy it direct on Desura, GamersGate, or Indievania. There is a demo available on Desura (you can download it direct from the site, don't need the client).

So you play as a robot beating up other robots in a platformer. Defeated robots drop parts which you can then equip to yourself giving you bonuses and special moves. Combat plays out like Smash Bros, as you can see from the video above. And the first boss battle I got to was pretty much a straight up Smash Bros fight. Its awesome.

Totally check it out. Its currently in alpha funding mode, so more updates are guaranteed.
