Man, thats 3 digital board game type games in a row. I like this development.Desperate Gods is a free online board game that was designed to be played just like a board game in real-life: no rules are enforced by the computer, and all moves are performed in a shared physical space. The game itself is a cross between Monopoly and Diablo, a dark fantasy dungeon crawl for up to four players.
Pretty cool. These are the same guys making Overgrowth and they made this in a game jam. I have yet to play the game they designed here (anyone up to try it sometime?), but by open sourcing it I am hoping this can be turned into a generic board game player type of program. I could totally see playing Arkham Horror with this.
