Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster--but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.

I haven't added anything to this thread in a while. Elijah Wood is voicing the main male character in the game. Pretty crazy the VO people they got.


So tomorrow there is going to be an announcement about release. Backers will be able to play tomorrow, people can buy it later this month. Details about that to come tomorrow and we were asked not to jump the gun but...get hype.

Though a couple things kinda bum me out about it. I can talk about that after the announcement.

You can preorder on Steam.

So, backers get the game today. You can preorder the game and get it on Jan 28th if you aren't a backer. You will get Act 1 on that date and Act 2 will be added in free or charge when it is done in a couple months.

Sadly (for me), to play right now you have to use Steam. Grumble grumble. Also, episodes of the documentary are now going to assume you've played the game and will be a little more loose with the spoilers. So I think I'll have to play it just so I dont have to dodge spoilers for the next few months and can keep watching the documentary.
