Next weekFallon will demo a new game each night, starting Monday with Forza Motorsport 5 on Microsoft's new game console, the Xbox One. On Tuesday, Fallon will demo Knack on Sony's new PlayStation 4, followed by Ubisoft's Watchdogs on June 19, Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts on June 20. On Friday June 21, Fallon will cap it off by demoing Game & Wario and Super Mario 3D on Nintendo's Wii U.
Yeah yeah, but this is the cool part.
In addition to demoing new games, Late Night has scheduled musical guests with ties to the video gaming world to appear during the week. On Monday, Anamanaguchi will make their first live in-studio performance on American TV. The band is known for popularizing the musical genre "chiptune," which is often performed on and pays homage to sound chips from vintage video game consoles.
Other musical guests include Chvrches, a group whose music will be featured in many games this year including the incredibly popular FIFA franchise, as well Zedd, whose remix of The Legend of Zelda theme song is famous in the gaming community. Zedd and special guest Foxes will perform a video game themed set on Friday.
