That would actually be pretty cool.

Interesting speculations. I was hoping for the option to give a game away, at least if it's a Steamworks game, for which Valve can actually control the licence.

That'd be sweet - if I could say "pass" my game off to someone else.
Especially if I want to buy a NEWER Edition w/ ALL of the content.

Think like say I owned say SR:TT (Base game); wanted to buy SR:TT - Full Package (with ALL DLC); pass base game off to someone else; buy version w/ ALL DLC.

Exactly. For example I have Crysis 2 and Crysis 2 Maximum Edition both registered to my account and I can't get rid of Crysis 2 or pass it on to someone. WTF!

Depends on how this works. I imagine it would be a temporary lending policy and not a straight up transfer this game to someone elses account. Like Pyro could say "Hey idol, here...play my copy of Skyrim" and I could play it. But at any time he could revoke my access to it and it would still be on his account. I would also guess there could be a general time limit on it as well, like a week? Just so people couldn't keep them indefinitely. Also wonder if it would still support offline mode.

I dunno, just speculating.

It would HAVE to be pretty limited by the very nature of the service.  I could probably loan a hundred games out on Steam and not even notice.
