Kids these days have it so bad with TV. We used to have Duck Tales and Saturday morning cartoons. Now they get Spongebob marathons for days on end. Not that Sponge Bob is a bad show, but kids really don't have the variety we did back in the 80's.

I will say the new Nick TMNT show is legit, though

But you're right. I feel somewhat sorry for Willa because she'll never get to experience a proper Saturday morning cartoon run.

Kids shows are in a sorry state these days but every once in a while I find a gem among the dust. The follow-up to Avatar: The Last Airbender, simply entitled The Legend of Korra is awesome. season 2 (book 2) is scheduled to air in September 2013.

I was also pleasantly surprised with Young Justice, great show, DC comics fans may appreciate it even though it follows a vastly different continuity from the mainstream DC universe. The show was cancelled in Jan 2013 but there is a fan movement to push for its return.
