For some reason I read this as a new Advance Wars with Kevin Spacey. Now I'm sad.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare PC requirements are up.

Not too bad, for most of it in the minimum.

Though they hope you got some nice HDD space open, to go along w/ many of the other PC games wanting 50+ GB of space:

Quote
The minimum requirements:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Processor: Intel CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI Radeon HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection

Curious if anyone here has kept up with playing the series. I honestly only played through the first Modern Warfare and just barely messed with it's multiplayer. I am certainly not distancing myself from it on a level where I want to dissociated with that crowd, on the contrary, I keep up with the battlefield games and have a good time with them, I just wasn't into the more free for all deathmatch focus on it.

preordered Modern Warfare, bought MW2 on the cheap, haven't played a title since.  Got really into multiplayer on the first game because the leveling up thing was real neat at the time and kept me engaged.  Then my 360 RRoDed and i lost any momentum.  I really enjoyed what I played but have little desire to go back to it.

I played MW and MW2 well after the fact just because I felt like I should know what they were. They were okay. Certainly did some interesting things and I can see why they were important in the gaming spectrum, but at the same time there was something a bit flat about them and I felt no need to play another.

I loved Modern Warfare and liked Modern Warfare 2.  I played both on PC.  I didn't play MW3 for a long time, and ended up playing it on Xbox 360 when my stepson got it.  It was okay, but the story was pretty lame.  The gameplay was very much the same.  I don't want to knock the game for that because it is a sequel after all, but it didn't really wow me like the first game did.

As for as other CoD games, the only ones I liked were the original CoD, MW, and MW2.  The Black Ops games were not great, with BO2 being especially terrible.

I do have to say the trailer for this new game does interest me again.

The season pass was $40 for anyone who pre-ordered it or got the "Digital Pro" edition upgrade before the game's release.

Plus GreenManGaming had a VIP special, the game was $10 off (total $50) on pre-order.

While I'm generally against pre-orders I can be swayed when the benefit is worthwhile, like massive savings. For example, I pre-ordered Civilization: Beyond Earth a day before its release for only $32.50 instead of $50 via the pre-order discount and a voucher combined. No regrets, that game is awesome. It's worth it when you do a little digging for coupons/vouchers to pre-order a game you really want.

Hahaha!  The "Frogger" segment was hilarious.  Get across the street!
