I haven't played Nintendo games in years, but some of this stuff looked really cool.

Open world Zelda (but do you play as Zelda? That didn't look like Link)
Yoshi game looks good
Toad game looks fun too
Splatoon looks awesome, first non-violent shooter ever that doesn't look lame. the swimming in inkn looks like a great mechanic.
Mario Maker looks great

Still not a fan of the gamepad interaction though. Don't really want to have to focus on 2 screens, one of which is in my lap. Like in Splatoon, you raise or lower the gamepad to look up and down, and rely on it for map and traveling to teammates.

I would just like to say that Nintendo has gotten really fucking good at being Nintendo.  That's a great thing.

One thing it seems like they did better than everyone else was coverage. Their E3 Treehouse coverage was really good, and was getting more viewers on Twitch than Twitchs own E3 stream. And thats considering you could also watch Treehouse on Youtube. But you can hit Nintendos Youtube channel and see some of the Treehouse stuff. Sure some of it is "Coming 2015" like a lot of stuff at E3 this year, but half hour videos dedicated to showing off individual games and talking to the developers? Sure beats a 3 minute CGI trailer and shows a lot of confidence in the actual gameplay.
