Can someone explain why we believe OBL is dead? Did the United States not dump his body without letting anyone see it? Was any evidence actually presented?

According to the Wikipedia page, its pretty much confirmed. Of course, I wouldnt expect it to say anything different. Plus there hasn't been any evidence presented that hes still alive. I mean, if the US was lying that would be a perfect time to present proof to the contrary by releasing a new video.

Its not proof but if I were in the business of trying to make the US look corrupt and stupid, proving them to be lying about killing me would be pretty simple and effective.
