Apparently we didn't have a real thread. Now we do! Because I'm making it.
So it's great. Figured it would be after everything we've seen, but finished it off yesterday. I've got a review forthcoming.
Short version: it's a great game that's built for a very specific audience. Might be a touch on the hard side for some, but respawns are near-instant and boss fights you get to do over right away. Very SNES-era feeling but also very modern, with beautiful graphics and sound that need to be experienced firsthand to be appreciated. Great combat, very old-school exploration (hidden stuff everywhere, invisible walls, the kind of maddening stuff that demands obsessive attention to detail), and a concrete yet ambiguous story told in abstractions via cutscenes and picture-conversations with people in the world. There's no English text but for the tutorial messages.
You'll know pretty quickly if it's your sort of thing or not. If it is, it will speak to you strongly.
I'll have videos up, but something got fucked up along the way which needs sorting. I recorded my entire run, though, which I'll upload as the usual let's play, at least in theory.
EDIT - Review is up:
